Netflix 'Good Grief'
I had the opportunity to have some of my works selected to be in a Netflix production. They were used in a set which was made to look like a contemporary warehouse exhibition. I was also asked to be an extra in the scene and got to meet Dan Levy the director, actor and producer as well as Emma Corrin who was acting in the scene.
It was a great experience in itself but I also learnt more about the various possibilities of making a living as an artist.
I was invited to sell 4 of my works with the Filthy Fox Auction Club at their first ever auction this year. The club is run by two CSM MA students, one of which I know because we did the Grad Dip at Chelsea together. It helped me learn even further how to sustain my practise as an artist through selling work and connecting to members of the public. I was also interviewed by a person who worked for Hoxton Radio that evening and met the owners of the gallery, with which I discussed holding a Stitch and Bitch workshop with Creaming Strawberries in the space.
